Where are you reppin?
I’m reppin’ Jersey.
What is your hustle?
I’m a published SONY/ATV songwriter, self-published Author, and a freelance journalist.
Your physique is official! What is your routine looking like?
Honestly, I do about 35-40 minutes of cardiovascular work when I’m at the gym. I also do 30-35 minutes of free weights, 4-5 days out of the week.
If I’m unable to make it to the gym I swear by my shake weight, pull ups, dips, and lower abs bar, and instead of driving, I just walk to make up for not hitting the gym.
What peaks your interest in fitness? Why is it so important to you?
What peaks my interest in fitness is the image it represents. I’ve always been athletic and into health and fitness for as long as I can remember. I enjoy doing anything that is physical and that involves building strength and maintaining muscle.
Who do you think has the best physiques in the game right now?
I like 50 Cent’s physique, Abby Wolfe, and Soccer player Heather Mitts.
Whose fitness look/lifestyle inspires you?
I really love Angela Basset’s look, she is almost pushing her fifties and she still physically looks amazing! Her diet is extremely strict. Last time, I read she was a die-hard Vegan.
What do you feel is your best feature on your physique and why?
I think my best feature is my shoulders. I spend a lot of time making sure that my body is even in terms of strength. A lot of women have power in their lower body but lack upper body strength. I would always emphasize {upper Body} making sure that I pushed myself to the limit when training it. I do pull ups, back strength routines, push ups, and medium weight (15-20lbs ) bicep and tricep curls (20-24 reps, 3-4 sets).
What is your favorite body part/workout to do?
I really enjoy doing leg training. It is one of the hardest areas to build because there are so many different angles to build muscle in your legs. I enjoy leg press, leg extensions, power squats, and doing calf raises. The burn from a leg workout is a true sign the results are going to be crazy!
What music/artists gets you hype when working out? What track is on heavy rotation in your playlist in the gym?
My favorite artist’s that get me going when I’m in the gym are def 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Mobb Deep, & any type of hood music… that’s what gets me in the zone. Right now I have On repeat Lloyd Banks “Unexplainable.”
Favorite cheat food?
My favorite cheat food is hands down Fried Chicken.
favorite healthy food/meal
My favorite healthy food would have to be anything on the vegetarian menu from “Juice Bar” in Harlem. It’s all tofu and vegetables, but unbelievably delicious, healthy, and nutritious.
Carnivore/Vegetarian/Vegan?
Unfortunately, I’m a Carnivore.
What are you working on next?
I’m currently working on the film to my first book I released entitled, “The Night Trade” and I am in the process of finishing up my second book that’s scheduled to be released this Spring entitled, “Sex Shooter”.
Words of Wisdom for the people?
“Eating right and staying fit go hand in hand.” Especially when you understand that the more you train your body with the right food and discipline while you’re young, it changes your quality of life in the long run.
As you get older, your body, mind, and spirit will not fail. I believe that adding just 30 minutes of exercise a day to your daily routine makes a difference.
