On this day, we recognize the Life of a GREAT MAN to not only American Society, but to the history of Humanity, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The belly of Hip Hop is historically rooted in the aftermath & struggle of the Civil Rights Movement and injustices done to blacktino Americans especially, as well as human suffrage throughout the World.
Dr. King’s “Dream” was for ALL Human-beings to be treated as equals, and to diminish the societal ideas of superior/inferior race. We still have work to do, and are reminded of the state of our people on this day every year.
On behalf of Hip Hop Hard Body, we ask that you take a moment to reflect on how you can contribute to this dream. It starts within you, and as we say, you turn those thoughts into actions, which lead to effectiveness & progress. Good Day Folks, and…
Thank you Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for your service & sacrifice!
Check out Common’s track “I have a dream” and appreciate life & your freedom to achieve greatness today and everyday
